The ancient liberty of the Britannick Church, and the legitimate exemption thereof from the Roman patriarchate, discoursed on four positions, and asserted by Isaac Basier, D.D. and chaplain in ordinary to His late Majesty of Great Britain, Charls the First. Three chapters concerning the priviledges of the Britannick Church, &c. Selected out of a Latin manuscript, entituled, Catholico-Romanus pacificus, written by F. I. Barnes, of the order of St. Benedict, yet living (as is said) in the Roman Inquisition. Translated, and published, for vulgar instruction, by Ri. Watson.

The words "as is said" are enclosed in square brackets on title page.
"Select discourses" (extracted from "Catholico-romanus pacificus") and "A letter, written by the Reverend Dr. Basier, to the Honourable Sir Richard Brown" each have separate pagination and title page (with "printed by R.I[bbitson]." in the imprint); the register is continuous.
A separate leaf supplying errata to the "Select discourses", headed "To the reader.", is often found bound in (sometimes pasted to the blank final leaf).
Signatures: A⁸ a⁴ B-I⁸ K⁴ (K4 blank).
The publisher John Mileson was a Cambridge stationer.
