According to the James interleaved catalogue, Eton MS 932, previously in the library of Frederick North, 5th Earl of Guildford at the Ionian Academy in Corfu, and then purchased by Sir Thomas Phillipps in 1830. Purchased by Hely-Hutchinson from W.J. Robinson in June 1947.

London red morocco of c. 1697; gold tooled decorative border surrounding a densly ornamented field, including tulip, leaf, urn, acorn, carnation and stag tools; within the frame is an undecorated area roughly the shape of a shield, with five decorated panels within it; gold tooled flower roll on board edges and turn-ins; gold tooled single fillet and ornaments on spine; six raised bands; gilt edges; red, green, blue and white nonpareil marbled endpapers.
