Papal Bulls
Series
The majority of the twenty-one Bulls here relate to the foundation of Eton College and the privileges granted to it.
1441 - 1498
The numbering is as it was made by Tom Martin in the eighteenth century, though it does not correspond with the chronology. Three of the Bulls contain no reference to Eton, and it is difficult to see why they should have found their way into this collection.
