Contains one letter from the Emperor Haile Selassie to Victor Cazalet, dated 13th July 1939, thanking him for his support of Ethiopian refugees in Palestine, and asking that he be allowed to continue using the income from the estate at Fairfield, Bath, for the relief of those refugees. One note of an interview by the Chief Secretary with Mr Chekol, the ex-Acting-Consul of Ethiopia on 29th June 1939, asking that the consul building in London be handed over to the Italian Government, which had been recognised by the British Government as the Government of Ethiopia. One poem written on a postcard, attributed to Princess Juliana, and dated 23rd July 1936.
