Isabella Thackeray (1818 - 1894) was the wife of the novelist and illustrator William Makepeace Thackeray (1811 - 1863); Charlotte Ritchie (1820 - 1878) was the daughter of Charlotte Sarah Thackeray and John Ritchie; Charlotte’s nieces, Augusta, Blanche, and Emily Ritchie were the children of William Ritchie and Augusta Trimmer; Blanche Ritchie (1847 - 1922), married Francis Warre-Cornish (1839 - 1916), Master, Vice-Provost and Librarian of Eton College.
