Description
Content (description)
On left stands Hercules, nude and with his lion skin over his left arm; he holds his club with its end on the ground. A bare tree grows in the background right. In the centre stands Jupiter, nude and bearded, a drape over his left shoulder, his left hand once raised. An eagle stands on ground by his feet on left. On right a bearded half-draped male sits on a rock mound to left , holding a great tree branch. Beneath the figures are the following inscriptions: HERCULIS/IULIANO; IOVI/CAELIO; GENIO/CAEIIMONTIS/SACRUM
