Content (description)
The urn has a pedimented lid with circular acroteria. On the urn a garland of fruit and flowers hangs from two fleshless boukrania, with fillets flying here and there. Two birds stand beneath the garland and look upwards. Over the garland is a patera, above which is a panel with the inscription POPILLIA C C I/IANUARIA/ VIX ANN XXIII
