Description
Vespasian, bald on top and with short hair combed backward at the sides, wears a corselet and a fringed cloak, which is swathed closely around his neck and pinned on his right shoulder. The bust, viewed obliquely from right, stands on a pedestal of coloured marble on a base, part of which is included within the oval frame. On the base is written VESPASIANUS
