Description
The draped bust of a woman viewed obliquely from left. Her hair frames her face in a short fringe, behind which is a diadem or an arrangement of curls. The rest of her hair is wound round her crown in plaits. The bust includes arms and hands, the left hand holding a roll, the right gesturing. She wears a bracelet on her right arm. Between the bust and the pedestal is a panel with the inscription MATIDIA
