Content (description)
97.1: on left a soldier supports a fainting Amazon who has fallen to her knees but still holds up her shield on her left arm. An Amazon holding a spear (remains of) rides her horse to right, leaping over the body of a dead Amazon.
98.2: on left a fight takes place over the body of a dead soldier between an Amazon who stands on right with her foot on the body, raising her club above her head, and a nude soldier on left, armed with a spear and shield. Far left a soldier wearing a tunic raises his hand in lamentation over the body. An Amazon rides up from right. On right a nude soldier stands over another body, by the side of which a horse also lies dead, and defends himself as an Amazon rides at him. Far right a figure rides to right in the background.
