Content (description)
A battle takes place around three prows, which are elaborately decorated with marine thiasoi. The prow on far right is cut by the border. In the boat on right are two armed soldiers, in that on left two men, one nude. A nude man climbs in to or falls out of the boat on left. Bottom left are traces of a figure, holding a rod and seated on the ground. In the foreground right, two men lie dead, one fallen over his shield. A ladder leads down to right from the middle boat.
