Description

Content (description)

On left stands Cybele to right, holding a tympanum and rod, her lion by her feet. In the centre, Attis wearing a short tunic, his head covered, and holding a staff, stands facing the viewer. On right in front of a large doorway, the right leaf of which is ajar, stand two figures on a smaller scale, a woman and a girl bringing offerings. On the ground between the woman and Attis is a rock mound.
