The grave altar, which is damaged and has ivy and plants growing round it, has spirally fluted columns at the front corners over which the top projects. At the top corners there were perhaps masks and between them an eagle in relief. On the left side a griffin sits on a base facing the front. On the front two animals run through acanthus leaves above a large panel, which bears the inscription: IUNONI/IULIAE/AUFIDENAE/CAPITOLINAR/SACRUM.
