Description

Content (description)

6.1: on left a bearded male sits on a draped seat, attended by a female, toward whom a putto leads a youth with a cloak over his head. On right a draped female turns to right, carrying two blazing torches.
6.2: on left are two draped males, one bearded and holding a club. A nude youth stands holding a spear (?) and a draped female, moving vigorously and holding a tympanum, gestures to him. Three females on right, the one in the middle seated on the ground and holding a tympanum, also gesture together as they look towards the youth. On far right a female carries a vannus of fruit on her head, a rod over her left shoulder. In the background hangs a curtain, slung over a bearded herm on far right by an altar. A figure with head covered appears over the curtain behind the altar.
6.3: a draped female leans on the shoulder of the herm and looks to left. A youth wearing a cloak gestures to left. On far right a putto leads a female to right to a youth who points at her.
