Description
In the centre is a candelabrum with sea-horses down the sides of its foot; from acanthus leaves in its bowl spring protomes of rams. A bird perches in the centre. On left and right rams spring to butt the rams in the bowl; from their bellies sprout rich floral scrolls, among which are birds.

Grey wash, brown ink and white on ivory paper, orange-pink added on scrolls. Sampson catalogue describes it as 'ivory' paper but it is a v rough textured paper, almost beige.
