Description
Content (description)
Round the lower edge of the painting is a river scene with putti. The rest is divided into segments by caryatids, which rise from leaves between two lions and support floral 'candelabra'. These 'candelabra' each include a smaller female figure and abut upon a central circle. Between the caryatids there are various figure scenes on the river banks, including trees and buildings. Between the 'candelabra' there are small figured panels.
