This sacrifice scene is based on the sacrifice to Silvanus on the Arch of Constantine, but the composition is reversed. Three men stand on left facing a statue of a nude male on a high pedestal. In front of the pedestal is a blazing altar. A tree grows behind the statue; on its branch rests a lion-head. A fourth man stands on right.
