Description
A reconstructed version of the tomb is given. It is a rectangular building of two storeys with a gabled roof. A frieze of boukrania and garlands runs round the top of the lower storey. The door is in the short side. On each side of the upper storey are four sets of twin pilasters, with three windows between those on the long side.
Beneath the tomb is the inscription: SEPULCHRAM ANTIQUUM/ AD VIAM APPIAM
