Content (description)
Orestes and Pylades, nude, are brought as captives with their hands bound behind their backs by two guards with spears to Iphigenia, who stands with a torch at an altar (in vase form) in front of a statue of Venus. Iphigenia turns to address Orestes. On far left is a tall tree and a tall building in the background with niches high on the wall and pilasters in the corner on right.
