Description

Content (description)

A bearded centaur, with his arms behind his back, turns to look over his shoulder. A putto with a vine wreath (perhaps the infant Dionysus) sits on his back. The action is no longer clear, since the putto's arms are broken, but the right arm was originally raised and the putto is looking up. The legs of the centaur are broken.
