At top left is a Greek inscription. Beneath in the frame is the inscription:
Hercules cum Hesperide Anagninus
b. Bearded Hercules, nude except for a large fig leaf and a cloak over his shoulder, stands on left astride the legs of a half-draped Hesperid, who lies asleep at the foot of a tree on right. The snake is coiled round the trunk. Hercules stretches up to pick fruit from the tree. At the top left is a Greek inscription.
