Content (description)
In the centre of the oval cameo, the emperor, holding a globe and a spear, drives a quadriga straight towards the viewer and tramples bodies. Personifications of the sun and moon, each holding a blazing torch, fly towards him, and each stretch out a globe towards him. On left and right is a winged Victory, half-draped, the one on left holding a vexillum, the other a trophy. Each takes the reins of an outer horse.
