Content (description)

The god, half-draped, bearded and with flying hair, sits to right on a high rock at the foot of a laurel tree on left; he holds a laurel branch. On left a draped female stands with one arm round the tree trunk; branches sprout at the side of her (Daphne?). On right a draped female stands with her legs crossed leaning on her elbow on the knee of the god; her hair is arranged in plaits over her head. In the background right is a tall curved wall pierced with arched openings.
A blank cartouche lies along the lower edge.
