Content (description)

On left is a the herm of an old man wearing a thick wreath of leaves and flowers. His arms are crossed tightly across his chest.
On the right is a bearded male who raises his left arm in front and his right arm behind him, though both arms cease just below the shoulder. His legs are encased in a sheath of rectangular scales, like those of a palm tree, and this ends in a band round his ankles. The figure faces to the left side.

Inscribed above the left herm: 154

Dimension note

The two herms are measured separately as two engravings stuck on one piece of backing paper. The first set of measurements corresponds to the left hand herm, the figure with arms tightly crossed.
