Description

Content (description)

A winged centaur stands to right stretching out a blazing torch to a flame on an 'altar' far right. His tail becomes a floral scroll, from the central flower of which spouts a dragon-head. On left the scroll is held by a grotesque partly floral winged figure, squatting facing the viewer; the figure is cut in half by the left edge. A putto flies right over the centaur's tail, brandishing a knife and holding a cut branch.
