Description

Content (description)

On right the two boys make their presentation to the princess; there are three women in the background, a man watches on far right and a man in the centre (Jason?) stands by the princess but looks left. There the two boys run to left with Medea as the princess raves in the background and her father watches in despair. On far left Medea drives off in a chariot holding one child over her shoulder; the body of the other is on the front of the chariot. The animals drawing the chariot are not shown.
