On left Vulcan sits to right on a tree trunk, hammering an arrow head on an anvil on a tree trunk in front of him. A putto stands on right holding a rod (an arrow?) and another approaches at far left with a broken arrow. On right stands nude Venus. She embraces a putto who runs up to her with a quiver slung on his back.
