Description
The relief is shown in reverse. On left a dextrarum iunctio takes place in front of a curtain. Then two victimarii sacrifice a bull while the general stands by a blazing tripod in front of a temple. Next, a man, woman and child make supplication to the general, who stands with his side on a dais; there is a tree in the background. On right two figures on horseback gallop obliquely out of the background to left, preceded by hounds.
