Content (description)

The infant Dionysus reclines on a wine skin and five putti attend him. One puts a cup to his lips, another puts a wreath on his head, the third lifts his left leg, the fourth lies asleep on his right foot and the last sits on his right leg holding a butterfly. There is a tall jug left, a pear on the ground by the wineskin and a large dish on right at the foot of a herm. The herm appears to hold up the curtain which fills all the upper right part. There is a window at top left.
