Content (description)
On right a tree spreads its leafy branch above a half-draped male, who sits to left on a cross-legged stool. His left hand is on the stool, his right hand is held out in a gesture. Before him stands a draped female facing to right, holding a tall staff in her left hand. She holds before his eyes a partly-opened roll. Perhaps one of the short ends of a Muse sarcophagus.
