Although this object was gifted to Eton College in 2014, a similar screen can be seen in a 1910 photograph of the interior of the Provost's Parlour (dining room).
Description
Decoration includes the Eton motto 'Floreat Etona', lilies, heraldic lions, royal crown and 'HVI'. The back of the screen is covered with decorative mosaic wallpaper

Polychrome painted and parcel-gilt embossed leather four-leaf screen; each panel with a Crown above a Tudor armorial surmounted by Tudor roses above ‘H VI' and the Eton lilies, the second panel with Eton motto and coat-of-arms and lilies above Tudor roses, with a Royal Crown centred by a Tudor rose and ‘H VI', three heraldic lions, two white and one red flower within a later ribbed green painted wooden frame, the reverse with a mosaic pattern in black brown and gold on a paper ground; restorations and decoration refreshed
