Photograph of upstream end of Rafts. A sign on the building advertises the boats of Herbert & Son. Three children play on the street outside. Annotated "The hut on the left was Norwood's (Coach builder). The path branching to left led to the river. The boys came out onto rafts where the office is now. There was a raw pit in the centre of the fencing, in the middle of the picture." Published in An Eton Camera: 1850-1919.
