Upper end of Rafts, showing the boathouses and cottages with washing hanging on the line, the church in the background. One building has Tolladay painted on the outside. Annotated "From a Post-card, parish church built 1852-54. The tree on right was an old relic called "The pear tree", but Charlie never remembers seeing any pears on it". Published in The Eton Book of the River, 1935, where it was labelled "Rafts, Upper End, about 1875".
