Engraved armorial bookplate of Edward Waddington, recording donation to Eton College in 1731 and contemporary engraved armorial bookplate of Eton College on front pastedown.

Binding

Late 17th century mid brown sprinkled calf; blind tooled double fillet border with second vertical line an inch from spine; blind tooled scroll roll on board edges; rebacked in brown calf in late 20th century; earlier red morocco spine label with gold tooled letters and double fillet reattached; five raised bands; new endpapers; red sprinkled edges.
