Vol.1 was first issued in 1673 as a separate work under the title "Observations topographical, moral, & physiological; made in a journey through part of the Low-countries, . ", which here appears as a drop-head title.
Vol.2 bearing the title "A collection of curious travels and voyages. Containing, Dr. Leonhart Rauwolf's journey into the eastern countries, . Translated . by Nicholas Staphorst. And also, travels into Greece, . collected from the observations of Mons. Belon, Prosper Alpinus, . To which are added Three catalogues of such trees, . as grow in the Levant. By the Rev. John Ray, F.R.S.", was first issued in 2 vols. as a separate work in 1693.
The half-titles and titlepages of both volumes are printed in red and black; divisional titlepages are printed in black only.
"Catalogus stirpium in exteris regionibus ..." in vol.1 and "Stirpium orientalium. Rariorum catalogi tres." in vol.2 are printed in Latin and have separate pagination.
