[Copy 2] 18th-century calfskin over pasteboards. Covers decorated with double gilt fillets to form a border, transversal gilt fillets on board edges and turn-ins. Spine with six raised bands, decorated with gilt tools, fillets, and titling ("Ariosto"; "tom. [I/II/III/IV]"). Textblock trimmed and dyed yellow. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated laid paper; three flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
