Collection of diverse items relating to Horace Walpole and his family, Strawberry Hill, and its press, compiled by Anthony Morris Storer, probably from the time of Horace Walpole's death in 1797 to his own in 1799, and mounted in a folio vol.
Mostly illustrated: contains engravings of Horace Walpole and his family, the family crest, portraits and antiquities, and views of Strawberry Hill.
Includes the following printed items: 1. Title-page reading "A collection of the separate poems, and other detached pieces ...", with imprint "Newport, Isle of Wight, printed for J. Albin. MDCCXCI" (?mentioned in Hazen BSHP p. 264).

18th century red morocco. Gold-tooled floral border, with arms of Anthony Morris Storer (1746-1799) stamped in gold. Probably by Staggemeier and Welcher.
Previously housed a copy of 'A description of the villa of Horace Walpole, youngest son of Sir Robert Walpole Earl of Orford, at Strawberry-Hill, near Twickenham. With an inventory of the furniture, pictures, curiosities, &c.'. -- Strawberry Hill : printed by Thomas Kirgate, [c.1774], in a slip case attached to the rear board. Now housed at Cc.2.3.20.
