Vol. II (bound in two vols.) consists of two works, with title-pages reading "The journey to Snowdon", and "A tour in Wales, MDCCLXX. Vol. II." both with imprint "Printed by Henry Hughes", and dates 1781 and 1783 respectively. "The journey into Snowdon" was sometimes published as part of Vol. II of "A tour in Wales".

One of twelve large paper copies published by Pennant of "A tour in Wales", excluding "The journey to Snowdon"; ten large paper copies of "The journey to Snowdon" were published by Mr. Chiswell, though Cg.2.2.05 is a small paper edition, and not one of them (see instead Cg.2.2.07). Information on copies from ms. annotations, signed by Storer and dated June 12th 1792, on flyleaf of Cg.2.2.03.

Extra-illustrated with many engravings, some coloured, and watercolours (many by Moses Griffiths).
An ms. memorandum in Storer's hand has been inserted at vol. I, part I, p. 98.
