[Display of heraldrie]
A display of heraldry: manifesting a more easie access to the knowledge thereof than hath been hitherto published by any, through the benefit of method; whereunto it is now reduced by the study and industry of John Guillim, late pursuivant at arms. [...] To which is added a treatise of honour military and civil, according to the laws and customs of England, collected out of the most authentick authors, both ancient and modern, by Capt. John Logan. Illustrateed with variety of sculptures sutable [sic] to the several subjects; to which is added a catalogue of the atchievements of the nobility of England, with divers of the gentry, for examples of bearings.

"The second part of Honour civil" has a separate title page, with imprint "printed by Samuel Roycroft, anno Dom. MDCLXXVIII."; pagination and register are continuous from "Analogia honorum".

Spine with six raised bands, decorated with blind fillets and gilt titling over red morocco label ("Guillim's heraldry"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated paper; two flyleaves on the upper end of the textblock, one at the lower end.
(Copy 3) ?18th-century sprinkled calfskin over pasteboards. Covers undecorated. Spine with seven sewing supports, decorated with gilt tools and titling ("Gvillim's heraldry").
