Covers decorated with gilted triple fillet to form a border with flower gilt tools at the corners; gilt fillets on board edges; gilt roll on turn-ins. Spine with six raised bands, decorated with gilt tools, fillets, and titling over brown label ("Morgan's sphere of gentry."; "1661."). Textblock trimmed and gilted. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; three flyleaves at the upper end of the textblock, two at the lower end.
[Copy 3] ?19th-century quarter-bound morocco and green paper over mill/pasteboards. Covers decorated with blind fillets to separate leather from paper. Spine rounded, decorated with blind fillets and gilt titling over red label ("Sphere of gentry"). Textblock trimmed and rounded, sprinkled red and green. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at the upper end of the textblock, one at the lower end.
