Endpapers consist of two copies of different settings (Norton 1034, settings A and B) of Latin indulgence printed in Toledo in 1503, with caption title "Indulgtia sci Jacobi apl'i in Cpostella.", sold to raise funds for the hospital in Compostella. Woodcut of knight. Both incomplete.

Early 16th century blind-stamped, panelled calf. Front cover has four panels, depicting John the Baptist, St. Barbara, St. Catherine, and St. Nicholas, with border of thistles, acorns, birds, and dragons. Back cover has two panels, depicting John the Baptist, and pattern of acorns. Remains of clasps. In 20th century box. See Oldham "Blind-stamped panels", 1958, QUAD 6, ST27, and AC6.
