Note

Leaves, or parts of leaves, taken from binding to Gg.3.16. Apparently from 3 different works: 1) First leaf (cropped) from Venice, 1479 ed. of Bartolo of Sassoferrato's "Super tribus ultimis Codicis". Red or blue ms. initials 2) Unidentified fragment of leaf 3) Leaf iii and xc, apparently from an early edition of Gregory IX's "Decretales" (not securely identified). Text in red and black. Ms. initials in red. Ms. annotations (two hands, one 15th cent.?). Ms. note on tipped-in slip identifies printer as R. Bembolt, in Paris, ca. 1515.
