Ms. note in the hand of Richard Heber reading "This same copy sold at the Pinelli for £1.2.0" (Maffei Pinelli (1736-1785)). The lot number from the Pinelli sale in 1787 is also inscribed: 4750. The note regarding Heber's own acquisition of the book in June 1806 has been partly torn away. The book was sold in the 4th Heber sale, December 1834, to Thorpe for 8/6.
