Early 17th century (ca. 1600?) blind-stamped, panelled calf. Rolls with heads of Hercules and Venus, with names - "Herculis" and "Vena". Oldham stamp HM. b(2) 794, plate XLVIII. By Williamson? (the College binder). Remains of clasps. Ms. parchment pastedowns and guards.
Manuscript leaves used in binding identified by Ker as 'Concordantiae maiores' (Stegmuller, no. 3605); host binding referred to as Ge.2.3. See Ker, 'Medieval Manuscripts in British Libraries', pp. 634-5.
Incomplete: 35 leaves wanting: a1 and D6, both blank, along with quires e, f and g. The quires are misbound bound in order: a-c, k-n, h, i, d, 2h-2n, o-r, A-D.
