Two vols. of antiphonal church music, maybe part of the same antiphonary. No title-page or imprint; catalogued from opening of first page of DDl.1.8 (parts of the Sanctorale). Second vol. contains antiphons for regular services.
Existing pagination sequences run thus: DDl.1.8: 88, 442, 30p. Mis-binding at beginning of second sequence, and part of final leaf missing. Third section not complete. DDl.1.9: 9-406p. Some mis-pagination.
Includes Lisbon saints, therefore printed in Lisbon?
Letter from J. H. Palmer to Dr. Lloyd (Precentor of Eton), dated June 13 1898, returning books, and giving a few details of them, including interpretation of initials on front cover of DDl.1.8: "S. L. et F." = Sanctorale of Lisbon and St. Francis.
