Vol. I has engraved title-page reading "An English historical series of portraits, from Egbert's reign to the Revolution digested on Mr. Granger's plan consisting of characters disposed in different classes ... By the Revd. Mr. James Granger ...".
Storer bequest label dated 1800; bequeathed to Eton by Anthony Morris Storer in 1799.
Ms. note reading "To Eton College - / A. M. Storer / and all the other volumes in these two cases".

Incomplete?
An engraving of Elizabeth I by Thomas Geminus or Gemini (the only impression of this plate known - see ODNB entry for Gemini) had been removed from the Storer Granger and hung in the Blue Corridor. It has since been replaced on the shelves near the Storer Granger in its mount. Shelfmark: Cf.1.4.03 (previously at Cf.1.2.01).
