Spine with seven raised bands, decorated with blind and gilt fillets; gilt titling over green/brown labels ("Historiae pontificum romanum"; "[1/2]"). Textblock trimmed and sprinkled red. Endpapers of undecorated laid paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
