Provenance
With loosely inserted ms. note about the manuscript quoting extensively from a letter from Bridges dated 14 August 1897. Presumably the copy of "Commemoration Ode by Robert Bridges with manuscript by author and explanatory note" presented by Miss M. B. Evans in March 1934, as described on ms. label that had become detached from the items it describes; the manuscript cannot now be identified securely; possibly ECL MS 473.
