?18th-century speckled brown calfskin over pasteboard. Double blind fillet to form a border on both covers; gilt roll over boards' edges. Rebacked; no raised bands; spine with blind and gilt fillets with gilt titling over red leather label ('Fairefax's Tasso'). Single endbands of laternating plain and blue thread. Textblock trimmed and flat. Pastedowns and endpapers of undecorated laid paper.
