19th-century polished brown calfskin over millboards. Covers decorated with gilt fillets at the borders, board edges, and turn-ins. Spine with five raised bands; decorated with gilt tools and fillets, now mostly faded; gilt titling over black label ("Morte d'Arthur"). Single endbands with plain thread. Textblock trimmed and marbled. Endpapers of marbled (pastedowns and facing flyleaves) and undecorated paper; two flyleaves at both ends of the textblock.
Blue ribbon used as bookmark.
